It was a breezy 16 degrees when we started, 21 when we finished - but nice and sunny out. I was toasty as could be. Spycam didn't see anything snapworthy until nearly the end of our ride, along Main Street in North St. Paul. The merchants had been out carving snow sculptures. I can't resist snow or ice sculptures, so we cruised up and down the street to see them all.
This towering white lovely drew Spycam like a ghoulish beacon from the far end of the street. Hands down our favorite. "The Angel of Death" sponsored by - you guessed it - the local mortuary. Who else? I'm sure Sandberg's think of her as simply a tranquil angel, placidly holding her lyre. But we know what's what, don't we?
Spycam thought a snowy Grim Reaper would have been much more fun. I totally agree, but realize our love for the macabre isn't shared by everyone. C'est la neige.
